Experienced Sales Director to Support Engskov’s Growth

Mark Sørensen has just started his new role as Sales Director (CSO) at Engskov Maskinfabrik in Ringsted.

The internationally experienced Sales Director from Solrød will make Engskov’s sales and project department more outward-looking.

The Strategy: Growth Through Partnerships

The strategy is to grow through more strategic partnerships with Danish and international industrial companies that can benefit from the machine factory’s production of load-bearing structures and serial production of aluminium and steel structures.

Mark Sørensen originally trained in business economics at Niels Brock and later supplemented this with an HD in Organization and Management from the University of Southern Denmark (SDU).

Most recently, he held the position of Head of Sales at Aluline A/S – a prominent player in aluminium solutions for industry. Prior to this, he spent six years in a central role at Hagens Balyfa as Sales Manager, with overall responsibility for the largest industrial customers and a key role in driving and developing sales activities. Earlier in his career, he also held a long-standing position as Area Sales Manager at OJD.

“I have worked in international sales for 17 years, and for most of those years it has been with companies that are subcontractors to other industrial businesses. I look forward to putting my competencies, experience and contacts at the service of Engskov Maskinfabrik,” he says, elaborating:

“For me, it is important that this is a rock-solid company with excellent production facilities and a highly competent team of employees, for whom I, together with the sales and project department, will help pave the way.”

International Experience and Focus on Proactive Sales

Through his career to date, Mark Sørensen has become accustomed to working internationally and establishing and managing customer relationships and collaboration with companies across many different industries – from the automotive industry to the defence industry, for example.

The role as Sales Director (CSO) at Engskov Maskinfabrik means that Mark Sørensen will lead the company’s sales and project department, which already consists of four employees.

In his private life, Mark Sørensen lives in Solrød with his wife and the couple’s two daughters, aged four and nine. His free time is primarily spent with family and enjoying time with good friends.
