Our subsidiary J&J Steel in Olsztyn, Poland, with 35 employees, is an integrated part of Engskov Maskinfabrik and primarily supports welding-intensive and labour-intensive tasks. Here, we work with fixed processes, experienced employees and documented quality, so you get consistent deliveries – whether the task is a single structure or recurring deliveries. Production is organised so that we can prepare and fit components before welding, resulting in better flow and higher quality in the joints.
How we create consistent quality across Denmark and Poland
When the requirements for quality, documentation and lead time are high, it is crucial to have a setup that can handle both production and process discipline. With J&J Steel in Olsztyn, Engskov Maskinfabrik has a robust capacity extension primarily used for welding-heavy and construction-intensive tasks.
We support you all the way from clarification to final delivery – and we can put together the right solution across our factories, depending on the complexity, timeline and requirements of the task.
Among other things, we can help with:
Preparation and fitting before welding: cutting, fitting and assembly preparation, so joints fit correctly the first time and the flow becomes more efficient.
Welded structures: structures in black steel, stainless steel and selected aluminium solutions (TIG/MIG/MAG), carried out by certified welders.
Certifications and standards: J&J Steel is certified according to EN 1090 and ISO/EN 3438-2, and we have trained and certified personnel for PT, MT and WT. Certified by TÜV. We use third-party X-ray inspection. Our processes are also supervised by our welding engineer. In short, we provide the documentation required by the project.
Handling of large workpieces: we have crane access and can handle workpieces up to 5 tonnes, which makes us well suited for larger assemblies and steel structures.
Recurring deliveries: fixed processes and consistent quality – with focus on delivery reliability and stable series.
