Strategic Project Manager to Support Growth
Oliver Clausen has just joined Engskov Maskinfabrik in Ringsted as a Strategic Project Manager.
He recently graduated from DTU as an Export and Technology Engineer and is ready to use his knowledge to help create the foundation for the machine factory’s future growth.

Internal Projects to Increase Capacity
“I am looking forward to getting started and using everything I have learned to implement projects that my colleagues will benefit from. I am also looking forward to finding my own project management style and gaining my own experience,” says Oliver Clausen.
He joins Engskov Maskinfabrik with experience from a student job at Proplast in Præstø, where he worked with process optimization, among other things.
In his role as Strategic Project Manager, Oliver Clausen will work with Engskov Maskinfabrik’s internal projects and ensure that the company’s strategic initiatives and good ideas are put into practice.
“For a manufacturing company like Engskov Maskinfabrik to grow, the framework around production must be set up to handle the increased workload. That is what I will be working on,” says Oliver Clausen, adding:
“One of the first projects I am involved in is installing another crane in production. It will enable us to lift more large components and make our workflows more flexible.”
Engskov Maskinfabrik’s First Strategic Project Manager
This is the first time Engskov Maskinfabrik has employed a Strategic Project Manager. Oliver Clausen believes this is a strong move in terms of future-proofing the company:
“I think the management is both wise and courageous in its decisions. They choose to give young people like me, with relatively limited experience, an opportunity, even though it may demand more from the company in the short term. But it is a good way to help future-proof the company,” he says.
So far, Oliver Clausen has been busy talking with all of his new colleagues and learning about their work. They have welcomed him well and answered all of his questions.
“I feel that there is room for me and my ambitions here at Engskov Maskinfabrik,” he says.
Oliver Clausen is 26 years old and lives in Vordingborg. He is a big football fan and enjoys following FC Copenhagen and attending their matches. He also plays football himself at Ørslev Fodbold. When he wants to slow the pace a little, he enjoys reading or playing computer games.
